Happy Friday, everyone!

Today I thought I'd formally introduce BadCat - the character I created for a variety of designs on a number of items - and answer a question I get a lot - what is BadCat about?

BadCat is notoriusly surly, uncooperative, disdsinful of humans - despite his dependence on them - and refuses to admit his enjoyment of anything.

In short, the humorous personification of feline narrow-eyed superiority and recalcitrance!

Holidays, snow, birthday parties, spring gardens - if humans love it - BadCat hates it.

And in each design, he suffers the indignities of human interests and celebrations - often wearing a ludicrous bow around his neck, or a Pilgrim hat and suspiciously surrounded by turkey feathers, tipping over the Christmas tree, befallen by pretty snowflakes, a bluebird cheekily perched on his head as he plops on spring flowers, etc.

Often captioned by his defensive "WHAT?"

The joke is always on him!

If you look closely at any designs involving gift giving, you'll find that BadCat always gives the gift a cat would value - a dead mouse - with a bow around its neck.

I love BadCat - and I love putting him in funny situations - like fishing in a goldfish bowl, standing - or, in his case, sitting - up for cat rights, being abducted by unwary aliens, intimidating a goldfish wearing a strap-on shark fin to throw him off...

In short, BadCat isnt reallly bad - he just has a Bad Catitude!

And that's the title of his section of August Moon Emporium!
